Krups EA9010 Super-Automatic Overview

The Krups EA9010 super-automatic espresso machine is among the best Krups has to offer, but it’s going to cost you a pretty penny.

As a super-automatic espresso machine, the Krups EA9010 is for those that crave the utmost convenience.

These espresso machines do it all:

  • Measure, grind, and tamp your coffee beans
  • Use the optimal amount of water
  • Extract the espresso shot
  • Froth your milk
  • Self-clean when the process is done
  • Additionally, they have programmable settings for complete customization

Just about all you have to do is make sure the machine is filled with coffee beans, select the brew you want and pour your milk into the frother.

The EA9010 comes with a 56 oz water reservoir and a Claris water filtration system, and it’s made in France with a 2-year warranty.

Krups XP1000 Steam Espresso Machine
Overall Rating: 80
The Krups XP1000 is an affordable way to enjoy concentrated, espresso-like coffee. Yes, "espresso-like" because steam espresso machines can't produce enough pressure. For authentic espresso, check out the DeLonghi EC702.

Krups EA8250 Super-Automatic
Overall Rating: 83
A super-automatic machine at a semi-automatic's price, the Krups EA8250 offers do-it-all convenience at a lower price point. Unfortunately, you might get what you pay for as the grinder and steamer tend to have issues.

Part of the Krups Silver Art Collection, the XP4600 pump espresso machine has a 15-bar pump, Thermoblock heating element, and Precise Tamp Technology for complete and even extraction (plus a few bonus features).
About The Coffee Maven

Bryan De Luca

I'm Bryan but most people know me as The Coffee Maven. I grew up outside Boston, Massachusetts and received my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Providence College. My first introduction to coffee was during my college days, when I used it as a source of caffeine to fuel late-night study sessions, but soon I became obsessed with the chemistry of coffee. How did changes to water temperature or contact time affect its taste? Why do beans from Africa taste fruity while beans from Indonesia taste spicy? I launched The Coffee Maven in February 2017 to explore these questions and help others brew their perfect cup. Welcome to my site, and thanks for reading!
