But what about functionality? Yup, VAVA has that, too.

Another high-volume frother, though not quite in the Breville Milk Cafe BMF600XL’s class, the VAVA frother can hold up to 10.2 oz of milk for heating purposes or a solid 5.1 oz for frothing.

The VAVA milk frother’s top container detaches from the heating and frothing elements, allowing the well-designed pour spout to let you layer in your frothed milk easily.

Though I prefer the temperature dial on the top-ranked Breville milk frother, the VAVA’s one-touch settings are pretty intuitive:

• Hot Froth: Press the button and wait for it to turn red
• Cold Froth: Press and hold for 2 seconds until the button lights up blue

Performance-wise, there isn’t a ton to dislike about the VAVA milk frother.

Does it have all of the functionality and features of the Breville BMF600XL?

No.

But guess what?

This isn’t marketed as the best-in-class frother. It’s marketed as a quality frother for those looking to avoid the premium price tag.

And in terms of quality (and consistency), the VAVA milk frother delivers.
